If my datum reference is .028 to ABC, and my result is .020. That's all good, but when I throw in my DRF, it throws my result from .020 all the way to 1.357. Why is this happening?

Something is up with your datums, causing a huge error into you DRF . I would create the same DRF using feature align and see where the error is getting pulled from. You have one of your Datums causing this huge error
