I have never been to Poland, but my maternal grandparents were immigrants to the US from there. I know a little about the culture and food if you have any questions. They actually have a version of blood soup made from duck blood. I wasn’t surprised by the Filipino pork blood soup. Polish cuisine has a lot of sour tastes like some of the Filipino dishes. You will probably like the flavors!

My sister has a friend here in California who is polish and her mother immigrated to California 45 years ago from Poland. I ate some soup that she prepared that was blood red. But when I asked what it was she said it was made from beets. Maybe she didn't want to tell me it was duck blood! LOL
@jamesoconnor27535 ай бұрын
The red soup is really made from beets and is called Barszcz Czysty Czerwony. Nothing to worry about! The duck blood soup is called Czarnina and is brownish in color.

@@FilipinaPetite1990 The Polish language is one of the most difficult to learn, but don’t worry, Rica, like in the Philippines a lot of Poles know some English. You shouldn’t have difficulty making yourself understood there.

Hi Rica! Well, I hope it goes well, if that's what you decide to do. I know it will pay much better than the jobs there will pay, so that's good for you and your daughter. That's a very pretty ring! Is it a Ruby? Your birthstone perhaps? I hope it's a gift from someone special! You deserve it! 🙂♥️

Poland is fine. Obviously you can get scammed everywhere, but if it’s a decent company you could be making some good money there. Best thing is that Poland is a part of the Schengen countries, so if you get a permission to stay, you’re free to travel all over EU. Is it for limited amount of time?

I hope you make the decision that is best for you and your family. I admit, I have never understood how that process works where you have to pay to go to the location of the OFW and "work-off" your travel costs....which as you mentioned was very expensive. As part of the process where you find out how much you will get paid....did the job coordinator say how long it would take to "pay-off" your travel cost?....Just wondering...mmmmmm

You have to pay money to the employment agency to get a job? I know here in California the employer customarily pays the job recruiting agency the money to find an employee to fill a job position. Sounds a little fishy you have to pay money, unless the agency is paying for your travel costs to get to Poland.
