​@Shf22 No, not at all. LED produce very minimum heat.. it's the perfect lighting for desks.

There are designated cut lines where you can cut it, but you'll need to attach another controller unit to make them work.

It does! But I have some other lights too. The trick is not be too close to the wall so the light strip has space to show its power.
