Nice to see u mate. Glad ur keeping busy. Everybody Is wanting work done yesterday at the minute. I find myself chopping and changing between crown and johnstones. Just can't settle myself on what I like more. I love crown for cover matt and scrubabnle matt and their oil satin is brilliant. Then I get swayed to johnstones. Love some of their stuff. I like their oil eggshell more than their satin. Sometimes I find crown a bit stringy if that makes sense. But the finish can be fantastic with them. With johnstones paints I find they are so easy to use but find their durable matt not quite as durable as crown. I would rather just go to one paint depot but constantly in and out of both at min.

Not used the Johnos Aqua tend to use the Crown fast flow how have you found it over the crown paint?

Hi gerard. Great video. Is there good adhesion with the undercoat over the gloss? No need for adhesion primer?. And my other question , do you know if its available down south i cant seem to find it . Cheers

the aqua undercoat adheres to oil gloss without sanding tested it left it to dry overnight and passed the scratch test

yes the aqua paints are harsh on your brush you need to use clean spirit to clean them best or spirit but its the same with a lot of high end acrylic emulsions to

So over yellow gloss you used 2 coats of aqua guard u/c a d one gloss G ? And for new mdf preprimed frames just 2 u/c and one gloss ?
