I mentioned the scent of Sole. It is actually peppermint and not cinnamon. One thing about this coating is that it is expensive. I purchased this bottle on 8/7/2020 for $129.99 for 100ml. As of 7/15/2021 the price is $181.99 for 100ml. That is a significant price increase. Hopefully it performs well enough to make it work the cost given that Gyeon CanCoat is $55 for 250ml and is just as versatile as P&S Sole.

Two coats of Legend is really good for years. Was the third coat your experiment for seeing the product. I have done two coats of Legend and have three small high spots appeared and will try using NSP to polish off then hit a light coat of Sole.

Sydni of P&S mentioned that Sole can be applied after 1 hour rather then waiting 4 hours to top it with Bead Maker. I also wanted to see how this combination compared to Gtechniq CSL/Exo and Cquartz UK 3.0/SiC. Both of these other combinations have the P&S combo beat in slickness but so far enjoying the Legend/Sole combo.

Great video! What would be the easiest ceramic coating to apply for someone who isn’t experienced and has no garage?

Gyeon Mohs Evo for a full fledged coating or Gyeon CanCoat Evo for a lite coating. Top with Gyeon Cure since it will be outside.

Nice! Interested to see the water behavior. Did you remove any dust before applying soul?

Very minimal dusting. Simply dragging a plush microfiber towel with no pressure to get any of it.

@@MikeGDetailing I WISH I had a garage. Makes a HUGE difference. I cannot stand polishing or coating outdoors.

@@qwikss4469 I get it. Two coatings come to mind for faster cure times and that would be Gyeon CanCoat and Cquartz Lite which have a 4 hour cure time. Did you ever coat your car? Been awhile since I have seen you post on the forum. Once I get the car back on the road I will post up water behavior. Been working on swapping out the brakes so it's been in the garage since I coated it.

@@MikeGDetailing thanks for the info. Yes, I have UK 3.0 on it, which is an outstanding coating for the money. Your brakes look great! I really don’t have the time to post much anymore.

How long did this last ?
@MikeGDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Without maintenance expect the hydrophobic behavior to degrade around the 8 month mark. Keep in mind the coating is still on the surface as the hydrophobic layer is the first thing to fail. This is an up to 1 year coating. Key words are up to. With maintenance it will last much longer.
