Somehow you always strike the perfect timing. This is just what I was talking about with one of our new Kotlin teams. Thanks for helping out! 😅

Hi Dave! I always find your videos super interesting! Not only because of the technical content but also because of the way you convey the knowledge. Greetings from Uruguay!

Thank you very much for you work! You create such an amazing content of the highest quality 🙏 I have a question: is there a way to buy your book in Russia? I haven't found it on any local retailing companies like Ozon etc. And companies like Amazon do not ship here...
@typealias2 ай бұрын
Hi Sergey, thanks for asking! The book is currently only available for purchase on Leanpub as a PDF, but I'm actively working to get the print edition ready, hopefully by the end of the year. As we get closer to publishing the print edition, I'll be sure to look into distribution options for Russia!

The concept of explaining classical patterns and adjust them to kotlin features is brilliant. Keep going, but pls dont type that fast. You make people like me feel bad :) .
@typealiasАй бұрын
Haha, no need to feel bad! There's a lot of automation and post-production speed-ups involved. I definitely don't type this fast in real life. 😅 But - if the typing speed is so fast that it makes it difficult to follow the video, let me know! I'm aiming for an optimal speed to keep things moving, but not so fast that it's hard to keep up. If it's too slow or too fast, I'm sure it'll end up diminishing the learning experience.

@@typealias I think its perfect the way it is, since you have uninterrupted speech this way. People always can press space bar and pause, what i sometimes do.
