Applying the double cleft weld: rebar tongs! (2020)

Applying and a little experimentation with applying the double cleft weld on forging a pair of tongs with forge welded on reins.
The application of the double cleft weld has advantages as well as disadvantages, depending on the skill level of who applies the weld.
A very cool old school type of welding.
