APPRENTICE STS 1.5 - PERFECT BEGINNER PLANE!

I was ready to give up on the hobby because clubs aren't an option and I just wasn't picking it up. I bought an Apprentice thinking it's the last plane I'm buying if I kill it, but it was awesome. Taught me a ton. That was 10+ years ago. I still have 2 of them. I fly them on 4s and there a blast. Don't fly 4s unless you drop prop size.

I have the smaller Apprentice S2 - 1.2M from HobbyZone at Horizon Hobby. Very happy with it. Got mine as a BNF but unfortunately its only available as a RTF now. AR631 receiver and fly by telemetry. I started with the AeroScout because this model was discontinued for a while, when I started in the hobby. The AeroScout cuts through the wind better, but you can't beat the scale looks and performance of the Apprentice series. I also hate the bottom feed as well as the rubber bands.
