Approach Speeds With Peterson Aircraft

My DPE almost failed me for using 20degree of flap on a regular landing instead of the full 40 ( C172). Fortunately, I had watched your flap video at the start of my flight training and put it into practice. Once I explained why I made the choice i made, along with backing it up with the POH, the DPE quickly shut his mouth over the issue and I never heard another peep. Thank you for making me a better pilot.
