Your videos are amazing! I’ve been playing Trainz since ‘06 and never was any good at Building routes. These videos are not only amazing to watch an artist at work, but you also offer great tips! Im more inspired than ever to finally build my own fully functional route. I’m currently attempting to build the same route in 2 versions, one operated by BNSF set in current day, and an ATSF version set in 1995. Cheers!

Wow, this is the original on steroids. Really enjoying your Let's Build of one of my favorite routes for Trainz. Can't wait to see the next episode! Sorry I don't Instagram or Snapchat. My phone doesn't support Snapchat. Otherwise, hope we can keep in touch through YT.

PS: Those JR SD-40s do look nice! I might have to add those to my collection. I have their FW versions, which I have used a lot over the years. I hope you continue with Pennsy & Berwind until completion. I've worked extensively on it in the past. If you need assistance with anything, I'd be happy to help.

Hey man, I saw your other comments too, figured it's easiest to reply just once. That's really awesome you used to run and edit this route as well! It really does just have so much potential. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far and I'm absolutely open to suggestions. You can always email me some screenshots of your edits if you still have the route. ApproachMediumYT@gmail.com The JR loco's are so amazing. It's been so long since I've purchased payware from them and I am not disappointed with the quality one bit. I was really shocked to see the differences between the freeware and payware too. I guess there has to be enough so people will want to buy the payware version. I plan to push through and complete it end to end, but don't be fooled by what you see completed here. The track is 90% laid but about 75% is not scenic-ed or anything. You'll see a bit of what I'm talking about in a week or so when my next episode comes out.

I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I'll leave it anyway. You have a talent that I've attempted to achieve for a long time, but never quite nailed. You can capture a "feel". It makes me feel like I've been to Vonny before. Like I've watched the local switch those industries. It probably sounds cheesy lol, but I just found this video, and I think it's amazing. You have some real skill, man. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comment! Believe it or not I actually have a route in TMR 2017. Franklin Ave Industrial was my contribution (I have a different username on the Trainz forums).
@mrelvispresley69778 жыл бұрын
wow that's awesome. But this means they payed you to do this route? I'm really thinking of buying it but maybe it's a little bit cheaper on christmas. By the way, have you got some of your routes to download on the DS or anywhere else?
@ApproachMedium8 жыл бұрын
Well I built the route for TMR before the game was announced. N3V saw it somewhere and asked if they could include it in TMR. I'll get a small cut of royalties from sales but they didn't outright pay me to build it. I don't have anything on the DLS yet. I'd like to get something up there soon though. Hoping it'll be part of this route you're seeing me build.

Is the original route on the DLS? I want to make my own version of it. I really like this series, it's pretty unusual to see someone making a video series about building modern rural shortlines, or any shortlines in general. Thanks and good luck with your project! EDIT: Oops, just watched the video again and realized you said it wasn't available now.
@ApproachMedium8 жыл бұрын
Unfortuantely the original is no longer available as it was never uploaded to the DLS. The original creator has been on hiatus, I've only heard from him once or twice in the past 6 years. Glad you're enjoying the series! I'm hoping to keep it going and expand the channel content as well.

If you're taking route suggestions, could you build a route similar to the Thousand Islands Railway (albeit with a more modern twist and much larger size), a port side route that would weave through dockyards in order to reached the industries it served (Maybe a name like the Carolina Western)? Certainly sounds like something of your style, from what you said in this episode. If you decide to do this, thank you. If not, I respect your opinion. Have a good day.

I know you already have custom engines for the P&B like how Boeingfan727 has 1 custom GP15,a OLS GP15,and SD40-2 in the Carabasset Valley scheme.But will you ever run leased power like CSX GP40-2s or Conrail GP40-2s or KCS SD60s or a GP30?
