Pains plan is essentially a MAD situation, mutually assured destruction. His logic is that by creating this incredibly powerful weapon and using it the other nations will see what could happen to them and he wants to control the villages that way. Essentially creating peace through overwhelming fear of being destroyed themselves. It has roots in some real world philosophies. A well intentioned extremist to the limit haha. I love pains little speech to Naruto though, like just telling him, "you want to kill me because of your friends, your village. What about my friends, my village? We're still in the middle of the arc and there's more to discover about Pain so I think it's understandable that he won't understand Pain as much as we do. Pain and his arc is a huge turning point for the whole story and I have observed that people have a hard time grasping Pain as a character and how relevant he was to Naruto's character development. Let's leave the comments for that point in the arc instead of lashing out at our dude when he hasn't even heard ALL of Pain's story lol Also, I love how you gave huge props to Ino's dad. There are ninjas that have the power to sense stuff, they're called "Sensory type ninjas". There are some attacks/powers that people can sense, a Biju is one of them, you'll see what I mean later. There are poeple who can sense, not only attacks but plain chakra, like Karin, there are the one's who sense things that are going to happen, like Tsunade, Sarutobi and etc. And there are some who sense somethings that has happened, like when Sasuke "killed" Orochimaru, the sky turned red and the aura of death in the world could be felt by Tsunade, Jiraiya, Naruto, Anko and Itachi.
