The loophole: Himekawa and Aqua are assuming it was the dad who cheated, they didn't think of the possibility that it was Himekawa's mom who cheated.

I haven't read the manga but it's pretty obvious that it was Taiki's Mum who cheated, not his Dad. She had an affair with Ruby/Aqua's Dad and got pregnant but didn't tell her husband. I'm assuming the murder/suicide was caused by the husband finding out about the affair and that Taiki wasn't actually his son.

My way of explaining akane "loophole" First i apologize english is not my first language so i might missword Aqua said his and himekawa "father" is a trash man who cheat with his mom and do double "unalive" with himekawa mother But the loophole is actually the real blonde hair dad who cheat with himekawa mom and his mom not himekawa mom's husband With himekawa mom and husband unknown reason of double "unalive", which also could be another move from their actual blonde father (like what he did to aqua mother) to avoid him being traced So akane figure that loophole but hesitate to told aqua due to he being free from revenge (and they show the actual man at the end) I think ive write enough, i will edit if i forgot to point out something

Himekawa doesn’t know who his real father is, the mother stepped out with Himekawa and Aqua’s real dad. The real question is what really happened during that time, did the husband find out and decided to take them both out or did something else happen

Because of how 4D everything else is. There's always scheming and extra digging and lies and secrets, so to have a layup answer just slips by them like it does Aqua
