This is an eye-opener! All the other videos I’ve seen about this machine/frame combo say you have to baste the quilt sandwich first. Very interesting. Thanks for posting this.

it's all about how you get good and practice! this is the easiest method for me but you might want to baste for larger projects.

Curious if anyone in mid Atlantic region has an APQS, dealers on site map are, I assume, a homeowner that will demo their own machine but contact/phone/web are out of order. I’m willing to pay someone to train/demo on Millie with IQ (or INNOVA). Then the issue even if I could get my paws on one nobody in a 1-2 day driving distance could do maintenance on it. Anyone near greencastle PA or Martinsburg WV have an APQS Millie I can ‘feel/use’ to make a purchase decision?

yes! as APQS mentioned we are in Brooksville FL which is about 45 minutes north of tampa
