Swallow the Sun is a spiritual ride of emotions. One of the greatest finnish bands ever.

The emotions are so raw and unfiltered here I can almost feel the pain of loss Juha was feeling while writing this. There's nothing fake in it, that's why it's feels so draining to listen, but still it's kinda purifying. Aleah's death is still very much present here, maybe more than ever.

Very good analysis of Swallow the Sun. It helps you to face the dark corners of your mind in a healthy way. Their album "Ghosts of Loss" is probably my favorite. It really sends you on a cathartic but an absolutely beautiful journey being also more metal and heavy than their latest albums. Swallow the Sun is also a very Finnish band. We Finns tend to have this fragile melancholy in our blood
