I haven't stopped listening to this song since it was released, and it gets better with each listen. Calms me right down. You're right Pedro, it isn't fast. An interview with Mikael Stanne would be absolutely incredible!

Stanne will certainly give you the interview if he's got the chance. Rarely seen anyone with that fire when it comes to engaging in MUSIC. At my favourite festival in Sweden (Sweden Rock Festival) I constantly stumble over him in the crowd at concerts since he's such a music lover!!! (Must have such great taste choosing bands to watch to ey?.. 😊)

@@jaspertrimbos5963 In flames and at the gates went into a slightly different direction. That's why I'm saying that nowadays Insomnium and Amorphis are more Melodic than the others two mentioned before. All in all, the five of them are great bands.

Seen them few times here at Tampere, Finland. Very good live band and Stannes vocals equally great with Jari Mäenpää (Wintersun) and Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis).

Btw Mikael Stanne did guest vocals and lyrics on the Solution .45 track Wirethrone, maybe you can check that one out. In fact he also did the lyrics for all but maybe one song on the album, which includes For Aeons Past.

I'm pretty sure Mikael doesnt mind being called Jesus. It's Dark Tranquility if it sounds like their last two it's being to be killer. I already hear the influence of Christopher Amott and their other guitar player in the music with the lead guitars. Awsome song.

I love this band's name - it says it all. Sadly, no Jesus but the video was awesome, reminding me of sci-fi book covers of the 60s. Excellent song, I wish I knew this band's work better. Good one guys !

I like it, but it's nothing super exciting. I felt like this was only half a track, that it ended so abruptly, just as I was getting into it and expecting it to take off. Well maybe it will make more sense when we get the whole album. Love the sound though and looking forward to the full release. Anyway, about the artwork of the album, is it the same artist that made to cover-art on the album Prokopton by Aephanemer? The style is very similar :)

Spot on. Dark Tranquillity is beautiful. Period. The first time I listened to this song, man it took me somewhere else. That day in particular I was having a really bad day too, I was really really pissed, but this song was like Scarlett Johansson telling the Hulk "Hey big guy, Sun's getting real low". By the time I finished listening to it I was so relaxed I couldn't believe it. These guys are absolute masters. Get that interview P!
