Ste wakes up on Warren's sofa after Warren let him stay the night. It's clear that Ste working for Warren means doing menial things that are a struggle but Ste's willing to do it. James is worried sick about where Ste is and whether he's relapses but Ste tells him he's fine, and that Warren let him stay. James warns Ste that Warren is toying with him but Ste says he's willing to do what Warren says if it keeps everyone safe. He tells James not to do anything, but James walks off, knowing he has to. He tries to take the heat off Ste by telling Warren it was him that deliberately misled everyone, however Warren makes it clear he's always thought James was involved and Warren knows exactly how to hurt James - by hurting Ste. At the Loft, Warren raises a toast to Ella and hands Ste an alcoholic drink. Ste goes to drink it, but then rushes to the toilets to throw it back up. Sienna finds him there and helps him out, telling Ste they have to find a way to make Warren leave him alone - by recording Warren confessing to throwing him off the roof...

Ste killed his Daughter and tried to cover it up for the sake of his own kids. He carried Ella’s coffin and lied to warren’s face. This is less than what Ste actually deserves. He’s lucky Warren is allowing him to even breathe because it’s not like Foxey to allow things like killing his own flesh & blood be so easily slid. He might have given Ste a chance to redeem himself but that doesn’t mean he has to go easy on him.
