Alex, thank you for the news. I really think it's weird that the DM doesn't acknowledge changes being made. I think it makes sense to say, "I'm filling in for Callie for a while." Or "Thank you, Callie, for filling in for such a long time so that I could focus on other things." Probably most of us are wondering what's up! I found it VERY interesting that so many Republicans AND Democrats approved of the aid. I like to see them PASSING things rather than doing nothing because they can't come up with a compromise. 👏

Here in Reno, we have big shelter with the storages for homeless people’s possessions for them to go and stay there. Reno/Sparks Cities and Washoe County banned for homeless people sleep in tents 1,000 feet from the river. Right now the local news talked about the homeless ordinance very controversy based on unconstitutional or not? 🤷‍♂️

I think homeless people need a place where they can legally sleep if the homeless shelters are full. But I do think the local government should have the right to decide where they are allowed to sleep. It needs to be reasonable. What is your impression of how it's going in Reno? Do you see homeless encampments?

@@MarleneHen hello! Yes, I passed the place where these homeless people can go there for sleep, taking the shower and do the search jobs etc… on Fourth Street in Reno. It was pretty big. These homeless will not allow to have tents to sleep in at public parks, and near Truckee river. I don’t know about punishment 🤷‍♂️ They could be violated the law. It was unfortunately sad.

That's true. I'm torn on this issue. Apparently, foreign aid is only about 1 percent of our budget, and most Democrats and Republicans in office consider it to be a good investment to help our allies. Better to send $$ than troops. It's a tough issue.
