Further proof that you don't need to be right on top of a tornado for the best videos. That "Rainbow Tornado" was a BEAUTIFUL sight! Thank you for sharing that. That's the kind of shot you can only get if you back off and take in the whole picture. My daughter was working in Vernon, TX tonight when the sirens went off. Luckily these tornadoes stayed pretty much out in the very rural areas, and as far as I know at THIS time, no one was hurt.

@9:39 min mark, call me loco but in the upper right hand corner there appears to be an inside down face/figure with folded hands(praying). Also prior to that, the darkest sky is outside the perimeter of the rainbow area ! ( there’s protection under the covenant)

I won't say you're crazy, but I believe people see what they want to see in clouds. When my youngest was small we would play the "cloud game" where as I drove her to school, we'd point out various clouds (obviously, only if there were some) and say what we thought they looked like. Not only did it get my daughter's brain functioning before school, it was a good "litmus" test for me to know what kind of mood she was in, LOL!

That's what I was thinking. Plus the fact that I want to move away from any place that is used to having these monsters. I just can't live like this... so freaking scared every time there is a thunderstorms in Texas, which is VERY usual. I miss having just normal rain without craziness attached to it 🌩🌩🌧🌩🌪🌫

Was on the same storm as you guys, this was definitely a epic storm. Have my own video of it as well. Loved the ropes that was out there. There was a huge cone at the beginning then it turned into several smaller ones

For still images for shots of the tornado and rainbow make sure you use a polarizer and that will make the rainbow just pop like crazy. That was really neat though!

I love living in South Texas because it's not flat and the wind doesn't blow like it does there. Call me crazy I do missing living up there because I miss watching wall clouds form and watching for tornado's, especially when they form around sunset and you can see the colors in the wall clouds. But that is the only thing I miss about growing up and living in tornado alley. People here have no idea what basements and cellars are actually used for.

First storm chaser sounded new...voice seemed anxious or even panic. Then the “hail” he called very large hail looked liked maybe golf ball sized. Visited with an insurance adjuster one day a your house. He said he had been at one home where the hail was grapefruit sized. Hail had gone through the roof and into a couple of rooms in the house. My experience most experienced storm chasers are full of excitement rather than anxious. I have know a lot of locals who love to go and watch tornadoes.

Do tornados happen in Germany too?? I am from Spain and this is very very rare over there... now I live in Texas and I'm terrified every time there's a storm, which are 98% of the time always thunderstorms, especially at night time 🥺😬😬😬😬 I shake like a baby until it's over... even if there's no tornado watch or warning, just because these things change and happen so fast, that I can't sleep until it is really over (watching the weather radar like a crazy maniac). I am traumatized.

The tornado seems to want to get the rainbow out of the way , so it can unleash its full fury, which was a reminder of God's promise not to destroy the earth with a flood. A very great example of God's mercy and compassion, even at this time- let's not take it for granted!
