Hi, Sasha. Thanks for posting these videos! I'm a new trader/investor and I find that I struggle with knowing when to exit a trade. I was thinking simple moving average might be a straightforward answer. I see, though, that you don't utilize buy/sell signals from simple moving averages in your own trading. What indicator, then, do you more so recommend than other indicators for buy/sell signals that would be approachable for a beginner to make sense of and start using quickly? To give you a sense of my perspective, I seem to be drawn to holding a stock for a few days to a few weeks and am focusing on holding 4 to 5 stocks at a time. Of the simple moving averages, the 20-day moving average seemed most appealing to me because it's not too jumpy and avoids much of the losses.

some of us chartists out there would love your take on the DOW's doji candle on Thursday and subsequent sell-off on Friday on no news besides decent earnings from a few bell-weathers... After the recent double-top in the indices and the H&S forming on the Nasdaq Composite, I'd love a market overview/your opinion going into May, where some folks "sell and go away"... thanks again Sasha, you are the best!

Can you do a class on moving average? Or do you have one explaining the moving average?

I've ben thinking about it and I think it would be a great idea if you do a short video, 5 to 6 minutes or wherever you feel comfortable with about your biggest gain and your biggest loss. How did you react emotionally and how did you overcome the situation. what could you have done better and what did you learn from that experience. Just a suggestions! Thanks

Another great video in content and message Sasha. I would be interested at some point to hear your rationale for using simple versus exponential moving averages. As I am understand it EMA is especially useful for shorter term trades. I've been using EMA in TC200 but I think after reviewing this video that SMA works better at smoothing out trends especially over longer term intervals.

***** Thanks for explaining the reasons why you would use each one. Lets me decide what would work for me.

Do you know if there is a program like this I could get for the ASX (Australian Stock Exchange)? Because this seems incredibly useful!

hellos Sasha! I have a question, are moving averages used during live trading? meaning, do the lines oscillate during the trading hours or is it just used for analysis?

I just saw one of your live trades and realized that it is live! Thank you
