April Empties

My April empties were huge this month!! We are a family of 5 and we went through so much body care, hygiene, Bath and Body Works products and candles this month!!

Jenn try hot water to melt the wax to the top once the water is cooled just gently use a wax stick or Popsicle sticks to remove it. Wipe the rest with paper towels. Wash it, and u can use it for hair ties, hair pins, hair clips, cotton balls, makeup brushes, makeup remover pads, beauty blender sponge, if your a small cactus plant person. U can utilize the candle jar for that. And so many others. If there's some candle jar that you like enough to keep.

I say throw out the ones that have gone bad and try to pass on the creams that are still good. I have used the creams for shaving and it did work good.

I haven't used the body creams for shaving but I would worry if you accidently nick yourself plus the potentially gone bad cream. Great empties either way!

That's happened to a different strawberry pound cake 3 wick of mine, but it was an older candle. It was 3/4 of the way down when it happened to mine.

Woot woot you got thru one of your body lotions. 🎉 oooh you got thru 2, great job I know you were a little stressed when you were trying to declutter some of your body lotions. Sometimes the soot changes the smell of candles for me when they get towards the bottom. I use Avenno for my face moisturizer. Stick that candle in the freezer and the wax will just pop out and you can reuse that candle jar. 😊 Do you have a woman’s shelter you can donate the good lotions to possibly?

Your strawberry pound cake, how it turned, that happens to a portion on my candles from bbw right after they get half way. When that happens, I'll blow it out and remove that yucky wax and put it under my lamp and that saves them for me. I still haven't figured out what causes it, because it's not every candle, or even every other. But they occur

@justjennsthings I've heard some of the "OG" bath & body works youtubers talk about a specific type of wicks they use being what does it. I've not personally nailed down specifically what I believe does it- but it definitely happens sometimes 😅

I use Cetaphil face and body lotion right now for face cream.

I used to put the 3 wick jar empties in the freezer, once the wax froze I used a knife to cut out the wax, then wash them out in the sink. Worked for me! Also agree about the cotton candy grape hand soap. Im working through one now and excited for it to be done. It’s just not … amazing lol love your videos. Enjoying it while having my morning coffee and it’s making my Monday morning much better ☕️ 📱 🩷

I second this. Give it a good couple of days in the freezer. Once it's been a few days, I've had good luck with just running a butter knife along the outer rim between the wax and the jar and the hunk will just come loose
