i totally agree with you! dry skin is definitely worse than oily skin! Yes, you have to blot all day and use mattifying products, but with my intense dry skin, my skin gets dry no matter what i use halfway through the day. Dry skin leads to wrinkles so much faster than with oily skin. I have to use so many layers of products to aid my sensitive, dry skin (also acne prone). It's definitely a hassle, but at least I've got it under control :)

Yes! I have naturally curly hair and do the same thing! I wash my hair and do my curly hair routine but I have to sleep on it and pray it doesn’t go funky and the next morning I quickly curl the hairs that frame my face or have gone weird or kinky in my sleep! Takes seconds and my hair stays so much healthier in between cuts not using so much heat. I literally only iron my hair maybe once every 3-4 months now 👏🏼

I just got my KL colour pop pallet in the mail 30 min ago. I love love love it already. I ran in to my mirror and started playing with it. Been obsessed with the face combo of: Missha BB Cream And setting it with the Milani Illuminating powder (flipping amazing!!) on the elf Beautifully Precise Airbrush blender (truly fantastic quality), and then using the darkest Butter bronzer shade on the elf Pointed Powder brush with a *tapping/patting* motion instead of swirling it in. I add luminoso blush and have such a natural glow that I’ve been skipping highlighter many days!!! I’ve gotten compliments on how smooth and glowing my skin is looking and I think the product + brush + technique combo has been really clutch.

The brand Lineage is korean, so if you really want their products and it’s sold out at Sephora and target you can usually find their products cheaper on korean websites. You can even get it in the US and order some other stuff. This brand is AMAZING. Love their gel sleeping mask lotion thing

This may sound weird but my favorite thing to use this month has been straight up coconut oil. I have oily skin but around my nose gets freakishly dry, but I started a new diet (cutting out flour products and sugar, which helped in clearing up my skin) and in my research for that I started reading up on coconut oil. So, I use it on my nose and any dry patches on my face, as well as in my hair, (can also use it in cooking) and it's replaced most of my moisturizers. I also added a couple drops of lavender essential oil to some coconut oil and I put that on my chest and shoulders before I go to bed and I feel like it's been helping me sleep while simultaneously moisturizing my skin.

To tone warm hair to be more ashy or cool... Take ultra violet manic panic and mix with hair mask (literally anything white) to a pastel color. I recommend color swatching but it washes out in a few washes anyways. Best toner ever including from the salon.

I'm totally with you on Laneige products. I bought the large lip sleeping mask and then got a little sample size. This little sample jar has been near my family room chair for months, I use it every evening, after dinner and before bed, and it isn't anywhere near used up. And I still have the full-size upstairs. Kathleen this might be weird but you should try the Aztec clay mask on your under arms lol, it really draws out all the toxins & detoxes & i find helps a lot more since i also use very natural deodorants. The clay mask with vinegar is also great for your hair ! Completely soak your head until it’s like 60-70% dry & it makes your curls pop. The vinegar is also great for super dry & even oily scalps

I've been transitioning into natural deodorants and like you said it only keeps you fresh for a few hours. I've been trying the Lavanilla deodorant (the original), and it's better than the past ones, but I do smell a bit rancid by the time afternoon hits. I've looked at the Native brand and been hoping to try it. You just convinced me to go for it. Hopefully it works for me too. As for my holy grail product this month, it's definitely Coco Kind Rose Water Toner. I love using it to finish off my makeup. It adds such a healthy glow to my skin. Melts the powders I use on my face without disturbing it or adding unnecessary chemicals that conventional setting sprays have.

Have you ever tried any of the LAVanilla deodorants? They sell them online at sephora and the small ones in the store in the travel size area. It is aluminum free and they have several scents. I LOVE the classic vanilla one it's smells amazing!!! If you want to bring the curls out don't brush your hair, only in the shower when you are conditioning. Then rinse it and your curls will not die. Thats how I get my curls to look best. Apparently when you brush your curls out it stretches them. Also since you have long hair the weight of your hair stretches the curls. I pin my wet hair up until it dries so the curls aren't stretched the stay bouncy and beautiful.

If you love the Laneige sleeping eye mask, try the face sleeping mask! I have super oily skin but I feel like my skin is only oily because I don't moisturize enough so my skin tends to produce more oil to keep my face moisturized. I have been using the sleeping mask for a few months now and it does wonders to my skin. Even though it is a sleeping "mask," I use it morning and night as a moisturizer because I love it that much. It is super hydrating and I am less oily throughout the day now. I also notice my acne/acne scars and pores are minimized. I use this along with the sleeping eye and lip mask and it is the best combos ever! Highly recommend the Laneige sleeping care line!

I have so many favorites, but I'll just mention a few. These are items that I've used everyday since receiving them. They've replaced my "Holy Grail products." First up is the new Giorgio Armani SECOND Skin Face Fabric. It's beautiful, lightweight, and more reminiscent of a BB cream. Second, is the Kevyn Aucoin Neo-blush in Pink Sands, and his tubing mascara, known as the Volume Mascara. I'm also really enjoying the new Hourglass loose powder, and their fiber brow gel. A few new lip discoveries. I love the Matte Shakers from Lancome, the YSL Volupte Liquid Color Balms, and The Dior Lacquer Addict Sticks. I'm in my forties, and I find less is more. Lately I've been adding a touch of bronzer in my crease, and adding a bit of the Glossier Lidstars, or Cloud Paints. There are many more, but I've rambled long enough.

I took my nose ring out about 10 years and it still looks like a huge pore on my face🙄 I have to shove it full of pore filling primer...so annoying

My April fave wasn’t a makeup product either. It was the belief aquabomb moisturizer it’s so hydrating and refreshing and I swear it’s actually making my skin better texture wise! Kathleen if you don’t already use it your dry skin will drink it up!

I have the same problem with my deoderant. Last summer I bought the Pacifica underarm deoderant wipes to throw in my purse because you can't always wash your pits midday. After using the wipes i found my odor problem stopped altogether. Now the wipes are all i use. Love the coconut pineapple scent!
