Call me old fashioned and unfunny but pranks are not "cool" especially like this or when you are trying to scare someone. Some might fear the dark, being alone and get Trauma from this type of prank. Not to mention, the girlfriend will keep blaming herself for this and she will be traumatized. The Boyfriend is an idiot and so are those who prank.
