April Ranger, as part of Taylor Mali's Page meets Stage series performs "Human vs Nature", April has competed at two Individual World Poetry Slams as the Boston representative, and has toured extensively across the United States.She is the author of three chapbooks: We Are Not As Strong, The Sacred Heartbeat of Consent, and Blood Oranges, Top Bunk.

Just like my hero, Sarah Kay. I love how April's words so softly and vibrantly leap off her chapbook and from out of her mouth and into my heart. She just invokes new inspirations and motivations for me to write and carry on. Love this piece and what she does with it. Awesome wonderful job.
