Actually, this is much better. Debut - Tinkerbell Era Yena really gets no line or 1 line at all. All they know is relying on Chaewon, Somin and Jinsol before. Right when Somin left that's the only time they gave Naeun and Hyunjoo time to prove their vocal strength. Hyunjoo left, then added Chaekyung (if not for PD101 I think she won't be added in April) and Rachel. Chaekyung too lacks line in April Story, maybe the time to showcase Rachel's vocal is not yet the time. As for Yena, she really is focused in dancing like Sehun that's why she has little lines andI think it's Yena's decision herself.

Vanessa Lai see their other performances. The vocal line gets more shine in tittle tracks but Rachel and Yena get more shine in side tracks. See Jelly, Wow, and Tting, they are much better

yena doesn't get many lines because april has a girly / feminine concept so their songs tend to be higher pitched and she has a lower voice. also her voice isn't the best tbh but she's definitely improving !!! although rachel's voice suits april well so idk why she's getting no lines...

rosiana kawai Chaewon and Somin(former member) were from baby Kara. As for Chaekyung I'm not sure but she trained for 4 years proir to being added to April.

im actually fine with this distribution but since they are the designated dancers i wished they had given yena and rachel some more center time at the intro and the after chorus parts. im not saying jinsol, naeun and chaewon was bad but yena and rachel definitely deserved more attention XD

The chorus is so easy to sing. Rachel and maybe Yena could have easily gotten one, it would make the line distribution more fair and the song would sound even more interesting with their unique voices. For example, Sana isn't a great singer but everytime she gets a chorus in a Twice song it makes the song more unique and with more replay value.

While it's not fair that Yena and Rachel have only 8% between them, I do have to say I'm happy that the other 4 girls have a fairer distribution amongst themselves. April Story is a great song but it's unfortunate that the song is so poorly distributed. This one is much better, and my babies Yena and Rachel have more actual singing lines and time to shine, even though I know they're capable of more than 8%.

Ikr Rachel got 0s and Yena got 1.5s because she did a tiny adlib after one of Chaewon's lines, I think I found a solution to how to distribute it more fairly tho, first up Chaekyung got 8.7s, so you give Yena and Rachel 4.0s of Chaekyung's lines that way Yena And Rachel have 4.0s while Chaekyung has 4.7s, if your confused, then it's actually pretty simple they just sing that line together and Yena still keeps her Adlib which means she'll be 4th lol or give the Adlib to Naeun. BOOM APRIL STORY got more even between Chaekyung, Yena and Rachel
