honestly, i didn’t want to believe it at first because i was a fan of l** nae*n (and kard before) but after watching clips and experiencing ‘the unit’ itself. yep, i remember seeing the different receptions towards her during ‘the unit’. i was one of those who looked at her warily. it was because some fans sexualized her for her cute persona, while others called her fake. i felt uncomfortable for her and sorry, yet she always tried to smile. i often wondered why her bright aura was so strong, turns out she was giving her all because she didn’t want a re-do of what happened to her in her previous group. she just wanted to be positive so she wouldn’t fall into the ‘dark’ again. everything makes sense now. i wish her well and i support her. may she become a successful actress she always dreamed of!

Hyunjoo loved UNI.T alot. She seemed to know plenty about the other members which surprised them since she was the youngest. She knew their old songs and the personal things they liked and didn't like. She has no past with any of them, yet she knew their 5 year old songs lyrics from their former groups. UNI.T members claimed Hyunjoo is a very caring person that tries to take care of things. It means she made the effort to get to know her Unnies. Now I know why. With all the UNI.T group members who attended The unit Finals, only April wasn't there to support Hyunjoo. DIA members are there, Sonamoo, Dal shabet, Hellovenus,Laboum,Spica, The ark all of them are there to support their co members. But only Hyunjoo doesn't have a support that night from April members

Yup, that was something that was overlooked. April was not at The Unit Final to support Hyunjoo, nor did she even give them a shoutout when she made #5 Rank. Even Finalists like Yang Jiwon, Yoonjo, and Suji had Spica, Hello Venus, and The Ark there to support them even when they were separated for years. They still cared for each other. When UNI.T promoted "I Mean", Euijin and Suji did however use the key dance moves from April songs like Muah! and Tinkerbell. I only knew Hyunjoo from "The Unit" but she looked like a bright and cheerful person with UNI.T . Unfortunate this April bullying scandal came to light...

Hyunjoo was hated in April by some members, she had a lot of Haters rooting against her in The Unit. She was loved in UNI.T. and even with this Bullying Scandal, a lot of people hate her, just as much people also support her. The only time she was widely loved was a small time in UNI.T. But for some reason, alot of people dont like her or somehow got a bad impression of her. Even when she proved people wrong on The Unit, people still didnt apologize. To all the things I've seen regarding this issue, the act that sticks to me is when they are eating in the table. Hyunjoo is the only one eating alone WHILE in between members!!!! The 2 members in her right side are sharing a meal, same with the members in the left side. She's the only one that is not moving in her spot and just seems like focusing in eating...I've seen lots of idols eating together and this scene may not be that noticeable if once in a while a member or Hyunjoo will interact with each other but no....throughout the whole meal, you can see the discord...I believe even the crew members will be awkward seeing it.

Entertainment industry in korea a bit shady though. Even if you want to leave because you didn't get a long with the members or even if you been bullied by the members.. you can't really announced this openly. She might have no other choice, she can't rejoin other girl group members esp when her contract with DSP still valid. So the only reason (might) she can choose is to transfer to another department in DSP which is acting department as her contract still valid. The Unit open her door to her dreams back and I believe DSP know what's going on that why they let her to join The Unit. If she purely want to focus on acting not to stop with April, DSP might decline her request to join The Unit as her schedule acting might have to be postponed and might affect some DSP income as well. So I believe she can't even tell the truth and announce like "sorry to my fans, I wanted to leave April because I was been bullied by the members and I can't stay in the group anymore as this drain all my energy and cause a depression. So I decided to not ruin my life with lawsuit and continue with acting in DSP in order to still have my contract running." I don't think she can say this though. I've been in toxic working environment as my colleagues in my department kind of jealous and feel that my ability will overwrite them.. so they ignored me, and did some I can say unprofessional things to me. Everyone in other department noticed this too. At the end, after 1 year I decided to resign because staying in toxic environment will bring me even further down in terms of mentally and emotionally and it does affected my health also. After 2 years leaving that company, I'm more happy and my current colleagues respect me way better than previous one and I even got promoted because of my achievement. So for me, I can directly tell why I'm leaving to my previous company but Hyunjoo can't because she will get sue for tarnish April name and she might even get sue by DSP and immediately get her contract ended in harsh way (need to deal with court even after leaving). South Korea entertainment industry is shady and you can't simply tell the whole world you have been bullied

I have been bullied by my business coworkers. They depreciated my value and tried to give as small proportion of money we’ve made as possible. I filed a lawsuit against them and announced it today. I was not sure if it’s okay to hurt their feelings so I hesitated so much. But reading your comment, I was convinced that it was a right choice for all of us, because the scars they left will never fade away and they will never realize what they have done. They don’t deserve a second chance. It is their choice to get hurt.

@@winstonwan8666 obviously u haven't watched enough. those clips u saw r just edited clips taken out of context. if u watched the whole "Here Goes APRIL" episodes u would notice how these clips that r circulating on the social medias have been prepared and edited to create the image that Hyunjoo was being ostracized. they left out the parts where the other members actually took care of her and had normal interactions with her. and mostly they left out the parts where Hyunjoo was actually having fun with them. u can't base an accusation on reality show clips made by some youtubers or netizens. it won't hold in court. it should be based on hard evidence and credible witnesses. don't u even care if the truth comes out or not? i don't care if Hyunjoo and her family have to pay the price for trying to defame a company and all the groups under them and ruining their careers. i don't care if DSP and APRIL ended up having to apologize and pay compensations. i don't care what the general public believe about this case. for me, the truth is all that matters. until then, i won't jump to conclusions. everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
