Aprilia RS 457 vs supercars and superbikes | Weekend speed run on the RS457

Took the bike out for a spin on the highway and rode alongside several 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled exotics. This wasn't intended to be competitive in any way, I am well aware of the limits of a 48 bhp motorcycle. The bike did hold up decently well against machines with exponentially higher performance.

@@kausikmr It's good for both. Although it won't be very good for city commuting because of the heat and load it puts on your wrists but if you get used to that, it's a very practical and balanced performance bike.

What a coincidence ! Looking for same upgrade from FZ B3 lol My worry about RS 457 is small fuel tank and low fuel economy of only 20 in city. Also my wrust hits fuel tank while taking u turn

@@varun1036 😃 congrats 🙌 I have a Fz bs6 , yes the fuel economy is low but its okay for me I can manage I travel 60kms daily, Yes the wrist hits the tank but its not a dealbreaker for me. The tank capacity is not a big thing for me because I dont have any plans for long ride yet, so it wont be a problem for me.

I also upgraded from a v2 and this is far more aggressive. You'll have to condition yourself to it for the initial few 1000 km.

video semma! just one doubt - aren't you going too fast on the ECR, especially on the intersections, and also overtaking on the left side in full speed is dangerous isn't it?

Yes, it is absolutely dangerous. These are speeds I am accustomed to else I won't be going that fast. I went fast through the intersections where I could see it was entirely empty or whatever obstruction was there was going the opposite way. As for lane discipline nobody really follows it here. I would be really happy if cars gave me way after I dip them but I have been cussed at with the pretext of the left lane being completely empty and ready for me to pass. Can't help it.

In city's with heavy traffics how much does this bike give out the mileage

In average peak city traffic, you can expect around 15-17. The worst I've seen is 12 when I was stuck in a 4 km-long jam.
