Oh im sorry i commented early before finishing the video. Was so excited to ask about this bike 😂

All good! I do all the basic maintenance myself, oil changes, air filter, chain clean and lube, basic mods....all easy to do. The worst part is that you cannot clear the service light without going to the dealer. Unless you don't mind riding around with a little illuminated wrench on your dash. I haven't had any issues really. Just what I mentioned in the video. Take a look at one and see if you like it. I have zero regrets!

Sounds like you should've kept the lava one

I would have loved to, but at the time with the insurance going crazy and the lava one was completely paid off, it was easier to sell.

There is a company that makes aftermarket electronic cruise control for a lot of bikes that have throttle by wire. Big Rock Moto has spoken about it on one of his recent videos, so that might be an upgrade you can look to get for your KTM. I agree with you though, cruise control is a game changer and I'm not even looking at bikes that don't at least have it as an option. I'm going to get the Tuono 660 Factory next Spring. The other bike I was considering was the Street Triple RS, but one of the issues with the Street Triple is that CC is an option, which grinds my gears a little bit. That's one of the reasons I've decided to get the Tuono.

@@operator0 thanks for the info! Yeah my friend showed me that there are aftermarket electronic cruise controls out there so that makes me excited! Good choice on the Tuono Factory. I would not be happy with a non Factory Tuono. Wishing they would have done with same with the RS660.

So the stickers are on top of the clear coat? nice to know.
@benvu236425 күн бұрын
@@motojc yes Aprilia doesn’t clear coat over the stickers. They do take a lot of finagling though to get off. Use a blow dryer, adhesive remover, and alcohol to clean up.

The beauty of this bike!!! ❤❤ what about the maintenance? Really love this bike but they say alot of issues about this bike? Planning to buy a used 2021 rs660. Your opinion would be nice. 👌

It looks way better than the black bike. Lol. Also I dont like the mismatched wheels from factory. The red wheels look way better. Looks amazing man.

@@ChrisVanMiddelkoop thanks dude! Yeah I wanted more pop to the red color and one of the best ways to do so is wheels! Thanks!

Does the parallel twin buzz and vibrate much? My first bike was a parallel twin and was vey buzzy and would make my hands numb after about an hour of riding.
@benvu23642 ай бұрын
@@cyclistman6358 great question! It is surprisingly smooth! You can feel some vibration, but nothing unusual or annoying. I think the mirrors are the things that vibrate the most. They are not very good.

Two of the same Bike? You must really Love the RS660. What do you like and dislike about the RS660?
@benvu2364Ай бұрын
@@SacrificiaLamb.The.Gixxerator I really do love it and I always wanted to own one motorbike for the street and one for the track, so when the opportunity arose, I took it. I love how easy the bike is to ride. Obviously the looks. The performance and tech it comes with at this price point is unmatched. The grunting sound of the engine is addictive. The riding position for me is just perfect. Can do all day rides without feeling fatigue. Very good fit and finish. There’s not much I don’t like. They are more like quirks. There’s a flat spot on the revs like around 3k to 5k rpms. The mirrors aren’t the best in position and vibration. Changing the foot pegs is a challenge due to them being connected to a shaft that also is used to connect the swing arm to the frame. Aprilia builders use a ton of LockTite on the big bolts so they can be hard to break loose. Nothing that I really dislike though.
