Aprilia RSV Mille / Tuono Bi-LED projector headlight light upgrade DIY installation video

In this installation/light upgrade video of the Aprilia RSV Mille / Tuono headlight, we install a LED upgrade kit. The Aharon AtomLED x2 bi-LED conversion kit with High Power Led high beams is used to make a guaranteed upgrade. The Aprilia Tuono shares the same headlight.
We have re-used parts of the older HID bi-xenon retrofit installation video.
The kit contains a bi-led projector for low and high beam and 2 additional High Power LED's for additional DRL or High beam. And also a custom mounting bracket, butyl to reseal the headlight and a wiring harness to connect the bi-led projector to the original wiring.

Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon or LED kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon/LED.
A true Bi-Xenon/Bi-LED projector update is now possible for your car/motorcycle. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!

Few comments after just going through this. 1) the wiring harness with the kit does not really work for USA bikes. The low beam switches off when high beam is switched on, which defeats the purpose of the bi-led. I spliced into the running light instead. 2) you need to re-use the plastic headlight adjuster pieces off the factory reflector housing. Some instruction on how to do that without damaging would be helpful - mine would not budge and I just cut them out. 3) if you get the HPL-10 high beam, the washers and fan are not required or included. Skip this step. 4) no instructions on thread locker. I put blue loctite on the bolts to prevent them from getting loose. 5) no instruction on wiring in the relay harness properly for the Us bike. Or how to tuck the wires away. Seeing an actual finished headlight would help a lot of people.
