I recently got that bike and took it to the track for the first time. So I was a bit careful in corners and exits. The bike handles like a dream and got lots of power.

Nice Nice Nice!! I absolutely love the Aprilia RSV4. There are always more than a handful of them on trackdays. Im 173cm and my 2017 Superpole RF fits me like my hero Biaggi, just wish I had 20% of his ability. Jokes aside my stock Ohlins has been set up for my weight etc and its just amazing everywhere.

How come you don’t breach the sound restrictions at Zolder? I’ve got a Tuono with that same exhaust but won’t take it to the track because I’m afraid they’ll ban me

@@myaccount6905 if you go to zolder on a thursday there is no noise control. can use whatever exhaust you like 👍🏻

Hi Tim. I'm thinking about buying an 2024 rsv4 for trackdays myself. I was wondering how u fit on the bike. my biggest concers is that neeing 1.84m tall is going to be a problem on this bike. Also I see u have the ohlins EC2 suspension still on and not gone for a cartridge or the standard rsv4 1100 model how do u find the stock ohlins EC2 to be behaving for track use?. Also what was the reason with going for the Factory model as opposed to the ''stock'' rsv4?

nice! the old RSV4s were way too small for me (I am 1.86m). now the new model is very comfortable, i think even better than my kawasaki. so that is no problem. regarding suspension: I see a lot of club racers and semi professional racers using this electronic suspension. its definitely capable of very fast laptimes. I got the factory model for a good bargain, so I took it. if you wanna build a top end track bike, you may take the base model and buy a KTECH or Öhlins manual cartridge. but I dont think it will make you faster ;) greetings from TT circuit Assen ✌🏻

@@TimBergerRacing Yeah agreed, the EC2 that comes stock is going to serve me well enough i geuss, my laptimes at zolder were around the 1.43 mark on the 750 so still a long way to go. I was wondering if u have a race ECU from aprilia or if u flashed the ECU. And if so where did u get the race ECU from?

@@vincentdehamer431 sorry I forgot to answer. yes I think the electronic suspension will do. 1:43 with a 750 is already pretty good! 👍🏻 I was in spa franchorchamps on Monday and it was the first trackday where I really pushed the Aprilia. Only 2 dry stints but I was happy with a 2:35,9. Second fastest rider of the day. And there is still a lot room. With this suspension a really fast rider can definitely go below 2:30 there. Just buy what seems to be a good deal. I always say better invest in good tires than top end parts. Thats definitely helping much more with lap times ✌🏻

super good bike. much more power and easier into corners, also the gearbox is great. and im sure the biggest difference is electronics but i didnt risk much now at the first trackday. i think i can go quite easily 2 seconds faster with the aprilia than with my kawasaki. but the kawasaki is 13 years old already, so the aprilia should be faster of course ;)
