@@650ib I've been in the motor trade for 30 years, and that's the first time I've ever heard of a silicon hose helping cooling😆

​@@nialbarnsley4108 They do in con junction with the engine ice as well. I have them on my 2023 RSV4. Can't compare it to cars. I don't have overheating problems like some other RSV4s. The write up on Samco hoses is a good and worthwhile read for anyone.

@joyfulpyro2589 don't be silly and believe everything you read, especially videos on KZbin, a hose only moves coolant from the engine block to the radiator, where it is cooled by the air. A hose DOES not aid cooling. The only hose which would enable and sort of cooling would be made from alloy or steel and have cooling fins as part of its construction, FACT

@@nialbarnsley4108 you are correct in that but some us know things from experience. I know from being in 98° Alabama heat in stop and go traffic that I got the performance I expected. Yes the temp got to 234 but my bike never cut off. Your mileage may very. In my 30 years this has been my experience. I'm not saying these act like cooling fins but you do get a bit of performance. I wonder why they are used by race teams? The oem are great (keep them) but if you want a little bit of performance and alot of style 😉 then these are a good option (Aprilia makes great OEM components but not all manufacturers). I should make my next upload on these hoses they look good on the matte black rsv4. Remember no one is saying they are necessary it's a preference with style and performance. All hoses and clamps are not equal.

I just bought last week a yelow kit of samco hoses and clamps for my GSX S 1000 k21 it will be sick N cooler they talk about a lil bit of power with that tooo

What really disturbs me is the fact that he uses the cheap looking aftermarket hoseclamps, not only that but the originals ones look way better and will clamp better because it is sort of spring loaded.
