Aprilia Shiver 750 Factory APRC edition with Akrapovič titanium exhaust and Leo Vince decat link pipe. Oso 11 I ride it daily to office and it's awesome. Shiver doesn't have as much horsepower as the Japenese 4-inline but its torque is high and usable. 👍🏻 By the way I've had my bike since 2009. 😁

@AlK Vlogs The maintenance cost is for 4 bottles of oil (Shiver uses about 3.2 litres) and an oil filter. I DIY the periodic service so I save on labour charges. 🔧😁

Hi WW. 🙋🏻‍♂️ Thanks for the compliment mate. ✌🏻 Yes I still have it and am keeping the bike in my garage... although it's not ridden much these days. The bike is already over ten years old (2009 model) and has accumulated about 84k KMs. My upgrades were mostly for cosmetic only like carbon parts except for the exhaust which was for louder sound 💥 (road safety reason ⚠️). FYI, I bought the parts from various online sellers like eBay, AF1, European sources etc. My only major problem encountered was a faulty MAP sensor which caused the bike to get stranded at a roadside once. After it was replaced, they bike ran fine until today. 🏍️💨 Cheers. 😎

I can recommend an ECU update! I've done it and do not recognize back the shiver !!!! My ECU was not reflashen so that a new programmer bar geheigen ram had to be put into it . For: Road Italy - LV Deact - DNA filter 80.3 72.7 NM - BHP at the rear . After ECU flash : 90.0 BHP - 80.7 NM on the rear !!! : D

Go to some one thats doing "rexxer tuning". Some ECU you can reflash, but mine not. The put a new RAM in thats was programmable. After that the make a file in the ECU thats fit on my bike whit the specifications. Then 7 runs on the dyno to get it like now..!!!!

Aprilia Shiver is definitely a fun bike. You can feel the torque in stop-go ride especially in urban area. 👍🏻 Change the stock battery to a lithium battery and it makes the bike lighter and more nimble. ✌🏻🏍

Yeah I did that when I 1st fitted the cans. They sounded awesome but I was afraid the loudness may affect my hearing in the long run. 😂 I cut the baffles into half and put them in... so that's the compromise. Medium volume... 😃

Haha awesome! Removing the baffles was pretty much the first thing I did too. I always wear earplugs on longer trips anyway so hopefully I don't end up deaf. I sold the Shiver last year and now have a Tuono which is even louder so earplugs are a necessity but damn it sounds so good!

Shiver looks great. What rear fender is that? How did it mount? I want one but don't want to do any cutting or drilling. I have a grill guard to install on mine came out of England. I also like your lower belly fairing. I have seen them on ebay but the years stop at 2012 and mine is a 2013, any idea if they work? How was the install?

It's a Skidmarx rear fender and came the fitting kit (no need to do any modification). The belly pan is ABS-model design and I used an Aprilia ABS mounting bracket which I bought from AF1. It should fit a Shiver of any year model. ✌

So you need an extra bracket for that belly pan to mount? How is the install? I want one but not sure of the install process and don't want to drill or have to make things fit right. I have a 2013 non abs Shiver.

+bananamacaca It has compression and rebound settings. My setting is a little bit on the stiff side (but still comfortable for me) for better stability at undulating corners but it's just my preference. Anyone can set it to his liking (whichever he wishes).

Yup DNA air filter. It gives a slight better performance in combination of a decat link pipe and Akra mufflers. Better intake and outlet...

Hi Victor. In reality Akrapovic exhaust does sound nice and is not obnoxious to the listener. 👂🏻 I have removed the DB killer for a louder volume 🔥 so that drivers are aware of my presence near them (esp. at blind spots 👀). ✌🏻😎 #RoadSafety

I would say the power at 95hp is just fine for a beginner. If you ride in 'T' mode it won't bite you. 😃 Dorso seat position it higher a bit and its gearing is 16/46 stock compared to Shiver's 16/44. Imo Shiver is great for commuting... ✌

Decat link pipe helps to reduce heat under the seat. It also increases exhaust sound because the gas flow is more direct. ✌☺

+Alex mercado I bought a China-made carbon fibre belly pan. There are a few online sellers; one of them is Motocomposites. It 's listed for Dorso but should fit Shiver as well. I already changed the exhaust to Akrapovic and Leo Vince decat link pipe but am still running the standard ECU. There is Bazzaz piggyback ECU option available but it's quite expensive. Anyway for a daily ride, the stock tune is good enough. 😉
