My first reaction after 100 m in the forest (testride in Warsaw) is that as soon as I purchase it (probably straight from dealership) i`ll have to change the sprocket (+1 or +2 in front) in order to give it some more torque for the offroad sections. And, proper homework after purchase (lets say first winter) - proper rims with central spokes combined with tubes or Tubliss. Ram mount mirrors are quite expensive for what they offer but theyre the most practical when it comes to move them around as you please. half or less tank - smart idea if youre rational. My problem is very often I leave for a coffee and I return x hours later freezing and full of mud :))). Anyway - thanks for the clip(s). A lot of great content. Happy to have discovered you.

Im so new to riding, i've heard of people changing sprockets but i've never considered it yet. I feel like i have enough torque to hurt myself already! already 2 trips to the hospital emergency room from crashing on the trails!

thanks for the wrap up. One thing though, if you don´t mind: tire pressure is the most crucial parameter in offroad riding. Trying 15 psi makes a huge difference in traction. Just saying.
@mennonitemoto5941 Жыл бұрын
Yes I need some advice on PSI...some people tell me to run a higher psi for sand riding? Is that right? My bike is about 200kg in weight and my tires ask for 42 psi max
@Kai-ze2rb Жыл бұрын
@@mennonitemoto5941 the standard tire pirelli str should be around 30 PSI. If you use something like the Mitas 09, with a burlier sidewall, then you can try lowering to 21 PSI, as this gives you more traction - especially in sand, without the tire starting to wobble as it looses it´s form due to a skinny sidewall. But like you said, it´s a heavy bike and you are not Barbie ;) So don´t drive on the street at speed with that low pressure. 42 PSI is definitely too much, independent of the tire you chose. Manual says 30 for offroad... Maybe a rule of thumb: the looser the ground the lower the tire pressure. As soon as you reach the tarmac or drive at hire speed pump it up again. A battery pump can be helpful, as it works within 2 minutes.

Did the front brake lever snap on your with the stock plastic hand shields or did you have real metal Barkbusters?
@manitobakid2601 Жыл бұрын
I broke the lever will using the stock plastics, afterward I putnkn barkbusters, and then I crashed and endo and got my hand stuck in the barkbuster so I switched again to an open style guard

Love the video man, thanks for posting. I’m wondering what crash bars you are using and if they seem durable?

That rear tail light would concern me. It doesn't look protected and I would put a rear rack on to surround it.

Hummm not a bad idea. So far only my turn signals have been damaged but I guess that doesn't mean I won't wreck the rear someday
