Thanks so much I'm still old school love the cup & spoon method brings back fond memories in the kitchen with my dearest late mom she made baking & cooking a breeze😢 spoon by spoon we had NO measurement equipment dad was only bread winner we grew up in humble beginnings but mom made a house heaven the aroma of freshly baked bread in a cole stove it was like walking in a heavenly bakery😢 heavenly Thanks mom❤

Never seen scones made like this before, especially all the folding. My mum always said less kneading/rolling produces a lighter scone and certainly never put the dough in the fridge. I will try this as they look lovely, thank you

You can use margarine, but I wouldn't use lard. Good luck

@@jacig2083 I am reluctant to use margarine due to the trans fat content. Lard has lower saturated fat as compared to butter for someone with high cholesterol level.

Not the best recipe, this channel usual features great recipes. Too much butter, too much handling and the double food stops the scone from having the essential fluffy centre, no resting time is better not do I add an egg to the mixture. Birdy Birdy
