Apsáalooke Women and Warriors: Virtual Tour

Apsáalooke Women and Warriors, jointly organized by the Field Museum and the Neubauer Collegium, showcases the art and culture of the Apsáalooke people-and provides a model for cultural stewardship in partnership with communities. For the Neubauer Collegium site, Apsáalooke scholar and curator Nina Sanders transformed the gallery into an intimate space incorporating historical objects as well as paintings, fashion designs, and beadwork by contemporary Apsáalooke artists.

Hi! I love this video. I have grown up way from the reservation and so did my father. He ended up in boarding schools and foster homes. Im just now starting to learn about our history for my children. I’m looking to speak with others that know we need to preserve what we lost.
