See my brother, When it comes to repentance you have to work it out with fear and trembling. I as a man helped by God has seen the Lord Jesus twice and could still go back to secret sin then I knew that man’s greatest enemy isn’t the devil because Jesus has defeated the devil but man’s greatest enemy is the flesh. And to subdue the flesh there are definite prices to pay and most people are not willing to pay those prices. However, the only entity that has the ability to subdue the power of the flesh is the Holy Spirit. The cure to lust is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Remember the scripture says “He who is born of God doesn’t sin”. The Holy Spirit is the only entity that can travel to your soul and uproot the lusts in your soul but you see there are prices to be paid. Wishing and regrets would not solve the problem. Trust me I was there until God showed me a pure revelation and I saw I missed Rapture then I knew that it is a matter of life or death. Many Christians do not know that the Holyspirit came to judge the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. I wish I can say more but I can’t really here.
