I don't want to have the auto drive system in my Aptera, but I do use cruise control a lot when on the freeway, when traffic not heavy. Is there a cruise control standard package with the Aptera ???

When will Aptera be ready for the world solar challenge in Australia? Could they make it for this year 24 - 31 August? A great opportunity for worldwide exposure. It would be the first production solar ev to enter.

I appreciate the PI enthusiasm, and it definitely is a landmark achievement, but if Aptera can’t show us a real way to fund production soon, this is all for naught, yet the CEOs still get to collect approximately $200,000 a year each until they potentially tell us that we lost our investment in them.

I'm signed up for aptera ... but I'm not holding my breathe... and this channel helped convince me to sign up with my pre-order, but the more i listened... convinced me to not invest the 10k, which i had to do if i wanted, but I was afraid of a big flushing sound to that 10k. All in all, i hope they get their big time investor, and i can one day have it as an extra vehicle

@@kurt16950 You made a wise decision. I invested $10,000 fairly early on because I believed in the potential and the fact that Sandy Monroe was onboard. The upside for me is that if this pans out I could really benefit. But what gets me is that they’ve been through this process before with their hybrid version and should have a better idea this time around of what it takes to make it to production. They even had an additional advantage this time around of crowd funding. Their crowd funding campaign was the most successful so far ever, yet that still wasn’t enough to get them into production. They then introduced the launch edition competition and that was also successful, yet still not enough to get to production. Now they are resorting to crowd funding yet again, but that has proven to be to no avail because by the time funds come in, that money is practically already burned just to hang on. It seems to me that they knew that they needed a significant government subsidy or a major investor to boost them forward, so they’re either milking it for what it’s worth until they declare bankruptcy, or holding in as long as they can in hopes that a major investor comes through (but they should have known this would be the case). I might be missing something, but the way I see it, either situation is disingenuous to their investors.

@@kurt16950 they need to start small production .. so they can ask prepayment for other customers and from that money they could deff start big production its a bit pyramid like but this way they don't need a big investor .. all money guys stopped investing in electric transportation its pretty sad ..
