Can't work out if I like Brian's voice tbh. I think it works well live with Eric's unclean vocals, but in the acoustic versions Dylan outsings him imo

I think it’s because Brian’s vocal style doesn’t work well on soft songs, Dylan’s does. I think it’s the slight distortion that Brian’s voice naturally has. Dylan has a very smooth voice, and can’t pull off the distortion as naturally.

You're not wrong. He's so flat when he's singing the verses and he has zero emotion for lyrics that should be emotional. Watch a Johnny Craig acoustic session or a Fame Over Demise acoustic session and you'll realize these guys don't belong anywhere in their leagues.
