They were together before this life. They loved and wanted to marry each other but they weren’t accepted by their societies because they belonged to different tribes. So they decided to jump off a cliff and drown in the river so that they can be together in the world of spirits. Sadly, they do not meet each other in the afterlife. Only the girl Awakes, her soul leaves her dead body which is stuck to a branch of a tree in the river. The girl now is a wandering spirit looking for her lover. She waited for him from dusk till dawn every single day but in vain. After 20 years, The guy is reborn in the modern world. But she is not. She is still a spirit wandering around looking for him in the deep dark mountains and rivers, from Siang to all the major rivers like Subansiri, Kameng, etc of Arunachal Pradesh till she finally finds him in a swimming pool in Doimukh. The boy is taken a back by her sight at first when he sees her underwater as you can see in the video. He suddenly feels a connection between him and her and starts to have a big crush on her. She then executes her “notice me as I walk past you” card and visits him frequently. He is falling in love with her all over again without any idea about their past.
