Just replaced screen on my gf phone, thanks for tutorial ! :) One important thing - be careful during removing front panel, don't put "things" too deeply, I have damaged antenna cable.

How did you damage the antenna cable? I suspect this is what happened to mine at the repairs. How did you know it's damaged? I have a P30 but the sadly screen broke recently. The first place I took it to replaced the screen but the finger print didn't work. They put the broken screen back and I took it elsewhere. The second tried again, place replaced the screen, the finger print worked but had 3 issues. The wifi says "Network Access Denied" when one tries to connect to any wifi. The bluetooth won't see any device and the phone isn't seen on the car's bluetooth. Thirdly, the Google Maps doesn't move as I move after I've started directions. I suspect the first must've damaged the antenna cable when he took out his screen. I took it to a 3rd place and he also couldn't get the finger print to work though the wifi and blutooth connected after several tries, resetting and updating network setting. He put my old screen back as I want the phone to work as normal. What do you think is the problem please? I'm considering buying the parts myself from Aliexpress and trying the repairs.

Super video showed me some stuff on the inside.. i putted the sim card tray spike into the wrong hole.. from your video it seems that i didn't damaged anything.. can you confirm that to me? if you will stick the sim card tray spike in the wrong hole on the upper part of the p30 lite that won't do any harm to the smartphone i suppose .. thank you if you will reply

Thant’s is the hole for upper microphone, but mic on these phones are not exactly behind the holes, so i don’t think you might have damaged anything. But still test recording voice, front & rear camera video recording before you put everything back together.

Just replaced a screen my self but I transferred the board and now its boot looping any ideas? I've used my microscope to check see if there's any damage done by me but there isn't any, I don't understand, the phone was in a kids backpack and the backpack got hit with a football. is it possible the board took a severe hit and it's damage something under the shields by the cpu?

Found the problem a screw is shorting out the board at the bottom under my microscope there is no screw damage to either the daughter board or the speaker part - weird thing is there is a small shield protecting a small BGA chip when the screw touches that shield it shorts out and boot loops / remove that screw and the phone works.

A screw can press the shield down and any cap or other components touch the shield and shield is pressed towards them making those components short to ground as shield itself is ground. Glad you have sorted.

You only repair lcd? How about the screen? I thought if the lcd is damage you also need to repair the screen or is it the same thing? My phone I cracked and I think it's the lcd because there is discoloration.

LCD Screen is one thing, it should be like this LCD Screen with digitiser if you want to say full name.
