Good morning Bryan, looks like they make trees pretty tough where you live. I am impressed with what our little tractor can do but I am really impressed with what your tractor can do. I enjoyed the video. Have a great week, Ben 👋😎👍🍻

Hi Ben, nice to hear from you. Yes, I find the the oaks have a good hold. The Eastern Red Cedar give up a lot easier. Thanks for watching, I know it was kind of long but sometimes it's hard to fit it all into a short clip. Enjoy your week and I hope so see one of your new videos soon. Bryan

I clear out the loose dirt with my front bucket and get my axe, cut out a few big roots. Then push it out with the tractor, in low gear, in 4 wheel drive at high rpm's. Feels great when it's out the ground !

@@robertbirch4163 Does it make pretty big hole? The axe is a good idea. I see a lot of people using a chainsaw. I never have much luck with chainsaws in the dirt. I do know that feeling you spoke of. I always say if it moves it’ll come out. Thanks for the comment and watching.

@@semo-dyer5183 The size of the hole depends on the size of the root ball. I have used a dump truck load per stump. The chainsaw is just the wrong tool. I would use a saw saw with a wood blade. But my axe works really good on roots. Thanks for the video.

Just a word of advice, your ripper looks fairly long, be carful that the bucket doesn't come in and the ripper hit your hydraulic hoses, this just about happened to me with my home made ripper.

I'm with you there my friend. I remember the first time I curled it thinking this might not end well but it was all good. Thanks for the comment and watching.
