Aqua Atom DPM Bed System - In Detail

Following the popularity of our DPM Pioneer and Atom shelters, the Atom Bed System is now available in DPM camouflage to match.
Technically-engineered to deliver ultimate mobility whilst retaining optimum levels of comfort, the Atom Bed System is the perfect sleeping solution for the mobile angler.
Aluminium construction throughout the frame and it’s six adjustable legs make the bed both lightweight and strong, whilst the unique self-inflating mattress allows the user to tailor the level of comfort to suit their personal requirements, whilst also keeping the total weight of the Atom Bed System down to a minimum when compared to traditional padded mattresses.
Adjustable lumbar support is located on the underside of the bed, allowing for the user to further tailor the comfort of the bed to suit their requirements.
With usability at the forefront of Aqua’s design ethos, we’ve made the Atom Bed System super-quick and easy to use - simply unclip and unfold.
The double-hinged technology offers a completely flat profile every time, and also makes it easier to pack-away the bed, even with the sleeping bag attached.
On uneven surfaces, the bed can be leveled at the touch of a button thanks to the unique, patented leg mechanism: simply push the button and each leg, with it’s rotating mud foot, drops neatly into position.
As the name suggests, the Atom DPM Bed System features sleeping bag with a performance-grade DPM Aquatexx outer, for optimum protection from the elements, whilst a hollow-core fibre filling traps air inside for increased heat retention.
Many considerations have been made to ensure that the sleeping bag delivers peak performance despite being compact in size and light in weight. External and internal baffles prevent warm air exiting - and cold air from penetrating - through the zips of the sleeping bag, whilst a shark-foot design offers space at the foot end without increasing the main body size of the sleeping bag.
In those instances where you need to exit the bag in a hurry, easy-exit crash zips combined with a smooth polyester lining make it easy to do just that.
As a finishing touch, a pillow retainer is built-in to the base layer of the sleeping bag to prevent your pillow from sliding off of the bed in the night.
The sleeping bag attaches to the bed via Velcro strips located on the mattress, with mesh head-and-foot hoods to secure it in position, making it easy to remove and reattach for cleaning, when required.
The Atom Bed System allows adventure-seeking, mobile anglers to not be weighed-down by regular beds that are traditionally bulky and heavy items, but with a host of high-end features including a new DPM Aquatexx finish, you can rest-assured that the only thing we’ve cut-down on is the weight!
