Even with Lene's natural vocal range decreasing with age (Barbie Girl was released 26 years ago in 1997), she can still really sing. And I feel this version of the song has matured with Aqua.

i think she’s going through the same “britney spears” situation. when she sang that years ago, she had to manipulate her voice to that “baby pop” voice. her voice is obviously naturally richer and thicker than what the original track portrays.

My own thoughts: it seems she’s “finding the key” on that first chorus, but after that, she sounds fine. It’s clearly a live performance, and she changes a few notes to accommodate where her voice is all these years later. But yeah, this is still overall a good performance IMO.
