This mat is everything I want for stalking sessions, except the carrying handles strangely being located on the side. If they were at the top when folded, you could carry rod and net in the mat. Really prefer to stick with Aqua and Trakker products but neither brand makes a mat suited for stalking.

Does this float? Can it be used to photograph fish releases?

Yes and yes, though I’d recommend a decent camera to actually photograph fish releases. 😜👍🏼
