I am glad Aqua talks about this and honestly it applies to pretty much anything in Hololive. It's ok to be passionate about the roleplay and relationships, but in the end it's important to remember that it's all in good fun and to not bring drama into it. You just end up hurting the girls in the end and no one wants that.

It's true a lot of fans take this way too seriously, I remember even Iofi was attacked by it and had to make a tweet mentioning to not take this kensetsu thing too seriously and she is allowed to interact with anyone in Minecraft no matter their kensetsu. Not only that, I remember every Akukin clip had people trashing on it by comparing it to usaken, not just that but when any akukin member would ineract with someone else they would spam NTR in Aqua's chat

As OP said, people were being toxic and trashing on Akukin comparing it to Usaken or making fun of the members that were "netorared" and it wasn't really funny. Right now it seems to have toned down, but it was annoying at first.

IDK what happen that made Aqua need to explain the whole thing like this (maybe some fans that too absorb with the ketsetsu arc and demand something and take this ketsetsu arc a bit too serious), but from my opinion for the whole Ketsetsu Arc thing in MC JP server actually had the same purpose, *to have fun* .. *The Most* fun thing that ketsetsu arc bring to the members (and also for viewer) IMO, was they able to bring back some *not quite active* holo members back to play MC, and make enjoy the game again with a purpose. I mean, MC is a sandbox game without any quest or goals. Its all about what do you want to do without the game tell you *whats next* . Its a *Freedom* . So kinda hard for some player to play the game (korone also mention about this, the reason why she barely play MC). For example, UsaKen manage to bring Kaichou and Towa-sama play MC more frequenly while the same thing happen with Sui-chan in ShiraKen. Who would know when Kaichou learn about pixelart, she really into it and be able to made that awesome pixel art in Pekoland. Towa-sama actually have tons of idea regarding competitive event in minecraft (that she already talk with Botan to make new stage and reuse Migo stage to do another competitive event in MC). And Sui-chan actually have good taste regarding building stuff and she actually enjoying adventures.. Who would know some random joke from Pekora long time ago about Police in MC server actually exist, and it was born from some bankruptcy ketsetsu name Oozora circle/keisatsu? XD The fruit of this ketsetsu arc *awesomeness* can be seen in Summer Fest. Botan want to do some event in the summer, ask for Pekora and other UsaKen members to start the project, and we got that awesome relay, and ultimately *We got that epic collab between JP-ID-EN* . Maybe Aqua absence for months bring some *passionate fans* start demanding something from them. IDK.. But hey, like Aqua said (and other ketsetsu actually do in the game), *Let's have fun!* For me, what I want from AkuKen (or Aqua especially) its not some big project, but just want Aqua play together again with Mama Mio and Granny Marine. I love the interaction and banter of these 3 people.. XD

Also who knows if Aqua will found new friends from other branches like Pekora did with Moona. Moona actually also really like Aqua but because the opportunity to meet and play together in MC is so small back then it's hard for both of them to forms actual friendship. Still waiting for cross Kensetsu collaboration tho. For maybe another Sports day or just building some impressive buildings.

I don't remember her crying. Chat also half the time has never played the game and is confident they are correct but are dead wrong, and they only give one word answers, when the streamer has said like 3 things, like at least write a sentence if it's not super obvious. Other times they know what they are doing but the streamer takes it the wrong way. Just remember everyone that its not a big deal, it's a game and the girls who are extremely patient are even more so to their friends in hololive so relax. Yeah they can sometimes learn from chat when they ask, but you don't have to be persistent. Often times it's more entertaining for them to learn by themselves or not and deal with it in their own unique ways, even if a bit painful at the same time.

The Kensetsus have become a real great excuse to have collabs with a lot of different people that would most of the time be difficult to invite in collabs just like in the Usaken Summer festival project wherein HoloJP members had a collab with both HoloID and HoloEn members. Not to mention it provided a chance to for all HoloJP, HoloID, and HoloEn to have a large scale collab with everyone

Unfortunate too. Aqua and marine only created the whole Akukin Kensetsu (akukin corp then) thing as an excuse to play with Moona and finish AquamarineGo. Some fans took it a bit seriously when moona left and people started comparing skills of people who joined the kensetsus and some even more factional.

Yeah prior to recruiting a bunch of holomems, Aqukin kensetsu basically started up with Marine and Aqua having a random fun interaction with Moona when building AquaMarineGo which resulted in them recruiting Moona. Then some miscommunications between Aqua and Moona about how seriously they're taking it results in Moona leaving (unfortunate situation due to language barrier and Aqua being really busy around that time) which fans blew out of proportion. This motivated Aqua to officially start doing stuff as Aqukin kensetsu, building a bunch of stuff by herself for a few months (Marine didn't play Minecraft that much and as mentioned they came up with the idea pretty randomly, so Marine probably didn't expect that they'd start taking it more seriously).

The construction group thing was a good way to collab and make some of the less exciting aspects of Minecraft (grinding/building prep) more fun for the girls and for the viewers. It's a great way to build relationships and create some really cool content. I think that's why Minecraft has been such a central game for alot of members, just like Arc was. People trying to create this narrative that the girls should be separate from each other and have rivals doesn't really do anything but put unnecessary pressure on them.

I always see it as them just going with the group they play with more regularly. Like Pekora and Moona has Usada kensetsu because they play together, then they invited others because they want to play with them too. And because of the grouping up in the name of a company, they can set up a single goal in mind when playing together; and even when not playing at the same time, the single goal can be there as something you're actually doing together with someone. (As someone who plays alone in Minecraft and other building games, yeah, I'm lonely... jk I'm just too shy and introverted to join my friends lol) There's a lot to do in Minecraft and everyone can do their own thing, but when it comes to big ideas, it really can be fun when doing it with others.

I think part of the problem are those people whose use the term "Kensetsu Wars" even as a joke because newcomers will inevitably get the wrong idea. I get it's a homage to the pranking wars of PekoMiko, AquShio & PekoSuba but those were between individuals not groups. The groups never expressed any interest in pranking other grps.

Maybe this is just me projecting my hopes but I feel like a lot of this kensetsu tension can be alleviated with a mine craft collab between Pekora and Aqua. Show these people that there is no actual conflict between them. Because I haven’t seen nearly as much made up drama between Usaken and Shiraken since Flare and Pekora still interact in Minecraft fairly regularly.

That would definitely create a sense of unity and reconciliation with everyone. Problem is both are incredibly introverted leaders who rarely collabed with each other before... If only someone could be the *bridge* that brings them closer together. xD

Part of this friction is due to *very* old parts of their respective fanbases who are convinced that there is bad blood between Aqua and Pekora, because those two have almost never directly interacted with each other and because of one minor incident their pre-hololive past. I don't think there's anything that Aqua and Pekora can do anymore other than collabing frequently to dismiss these rumours.

Really love all of this Kensetsu roleplays, I feel Usada Kensetsu might be a little more serious since it's Pekora's ideas and plans while playing with friends, but honestly all Kensetsus are friends playing and acting with each other while playing Minecraft I hope this never stops and that it can get expanded a lot, something I always have wanted is an Hololive modded adventure series, if a modpack gets translated to Japanese I hope the girls can play and enjoy it

Unfortunately, yes. If you've watched lots of Aqua's old MC clips, there's always some comments trying to compare each kensetsu. And every time one of Akukin's employee (like Kanata for example) played minecraft/joined other member's minecraft project, a lot of people saying stuff like "NTR" "betrayal" "spy" etc, to the point at that time Kanata had to pin her comment saying that she's working for both companies to calm people down. Also a lot of people blaming Aqua because she started the kensetsu stuff, but never played Minecraft and neglecting her employees and stuff like that.

HoloMC will die if you kill the Kensetsus. The kensetsu provide for a LOT of collab potential & some of the best arcs of Hololive. PekoMoon, PolFlare, Akukin HQ relay, Pekoland, UsaKen Sportsfest are direct results of the Kensetsu
