But seriously, I'm happy when streamers addressed and warned their fanbase. It made them looks stronger because they are very clear on kicking the misbehaving followers away. Usually, people treated streamers as people who need fans anyway so they will tolerate all their behaviors.

Finally! A clip of this! Please respect other streamers and their fans, read the chat rules and watch your etiquette. Freely talk about other streamer/people if only they get mentioned so not to trouble the streamer you are currently watching and not to embarrass in this case "Aqua" since they would feel indirectly responsible for their misbehaving "fans". Imagine the streamer you are watching having a serious match contemplation and reflection while chat is flooding names of people not even on topic wouldn't you get annoyed too? Please have some manners, Matsuri and Astel's chat was hard to watch yesterday....they're having their on discussion but chat's keep flooding "uwooooh Aqua" "uwoooh Holoteam", they have their own team and support them if you entered their chat. People going to other participants just to mention Aqua's name because of their excitement......Jeez. This isn't even a new thing since they have a term for this "Hato (Dove)", also lots of vtubers have these on their stream description "refrain talking about person who aren't on the topic" and vice versa "refrain from mentioning me on other people's stream unless mentioned"....sadly no one bothers to read chat rules.

I dont know why people are so but hurt with this its not like the whole game they mentioning Aqua this Aqua that they just won the champion so of course people will talk about them especially when they won 2 times. Im more cringing to people like you saying dont mention them and such when Aqua and her team just won the champion geez. Ive watched the vod and chat only discussed Aqua and her team when they won the champion and then moved on.
@mystrunner51662 жыл бұрын
@@gladewings1192 Did you watch the clip? Aqua addressing this problem means it's bad enough that she needed to warn her listeners to watch their manners. You sure you check the VODs? I'm surprised you missed the comments *"I want to see Aqua's team"* or the *"Towa-sama poppin off"* just because they saw her name in the logs... there was even a guy in astel's chat who said *"I came here to cheer for Aqua"* if that isn't considered rude then I don't know what your standard is.

I kind of understand how Aqua might not be as liked in the EN community, especially with the numerous issues she's had in dealing with antis from different sources. However, note that Aqua has improved a lot with asserting herself over time, and in general seems to be working really hard at personal development. What's unfortunate is that these moments from her streams often don't get good translated clips. I find it kind of crazy how much impact translators/clippers can have on the general impression overseas viewers get from vtubers.

In all honesty, I do just hope that they just enforce these rules with Moderators in chat and get them to either timeout or outright ban for a day for this kind of behaviour. I remember it being enforced in one of the Holomember's chat in the last Vsaikyo tournament, but only because the Moderator could read both JP and EN. I understand that it's not common nor realistic to have Moderators that are proficient in multiple languages in chat, but hope that eventaully all of the Holomembers eventually do.

While i agree that it isn't ok to mention other streamers names in chat when the discussion / stream has nothing to do with them, I genuinely don't understand why it's not fair game if they litteraly appear on stream in the way they did. Whether it's aqua's team that came out of nowhere, VGorilla and his crazy play or anyone that does something impressive really, i feel like it should be fine to express excitement toward what litteraly just happened ON SCREEN... Now if she is talking about actual spam and stream chats being entirely hijacked from start to end that's a different story

@@s2-railgun718 Well yeah, i understand the rule and i agree with it My problem with this is, when something happens directly on stream and is 100% relevant to said stream. Depends on what the topic is about, so there's no really right answer. It can be just a harmless sc, like saying "hey this foreign KZbinr reacts to your stream and they like it", I think that's totally fine. The bad case is like, you're in kson stream and you send an sc saying " hey kson, Kanata said this and that". It's not exactly harmful but it's just in poor taste. Honestly, it's not rocket science, if you just take the time to think about what you're gonna send, you will realize if it's okay or not.
