Thanks for this video. Is it possible to create a video on how to monitor vSphere infrastructure by creating customized alerts for and send those via email whenever any configuration changes are made.

Thanks for your kind words, don't forget to Thumbs Up and Subscribe! Not from within vCenter Server I'm afraid, you would need to use VMware Aria Operations Manager or Runecast Analyzer - to monitor and manage Configuration Drift. The alert system within VMware vCenter Server is about monitoring performance, and alerting when parameters have gone beyond a set value eg Memory, CPU, Disk storage etc Sorry.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your informative Video. Today, I have tried to patch my VCSA Server which has exact version of yours before patch, and the target patch was also same. Downloaded from Broadcom, uploaded to datastore, mounted to VCSA Server. With both management console, and CLI i was not able to apply the patch. In any case gives me checksum error, and not compatible. What can be the reason here ? Server is HPE Gen 11 ML350 relative new. As I know VCSA ISO is same for evey vendor. I appriciate your answer.

I would check the published MD5 and SHA1 signatures, it suggests the download is corrupted.
