It is a virtual flow sensor. Needs to be calibrated. It is only sorta accurate if you use dp ultra (aquacomputers coolant) Or plain water with no more than 30% glycol. Good enough to guess but not as good as a dedicated one.

Do you by chance have the measurement from the radiator to the front of the inlet and outlet? I can't find dimensions of the mounting bracket anywhere on Aqua computers website. Great video btw

Hmm deciding between the 2 German designs... Heatkiller and now this. Both make great looking borosilicate glass reservoirs. Both look pretty awesome. Such a tough decision!

Great video dude. I was able to purchase the 200mm version 2 months ago and I can say it is awesome. The only thing about this pump you have to watch out for is that when you put the plastic controller unit back onto the pump you have to be very careful as many people have snapped off some parts of the base off by accident pretty easily. Also, the only other thing I could notice is that the pump doesn't have a flow rate higher than 300LPH where other D5's can deliver up to 1500LPH. But anyways. This pump res combo is really good and I do recommend it

Flow-rate depends to the diameter and lenght of tube and number of Radiators, coolers etc .

Bro.... no single D5 will ever hit 1500lph in a waterloop.... I literally have 4 d5s 2 in series going into parallel with another 2 in series and literally get about 10-12 lpm

Quick question; does the fan mount, 120mm in your case, come with the pump? Because if not, I'll have to order one from either the Netherlands or Germany, and pay shipping which costs 5X more than the bracket, as no one has them stocked in the US...

Fan-mount is to buy separately, available in 120 and 140 mmm

Its still running because protection from accidently turning off all Pump n cause overheating, it can be changed in NEXT software on pc

Multiple days in, and i can for my life make my D5 Next pump to light up or pump, my leakshield power, but not the pump, tried hundred of thing, then made my own cable because nowhere there was a cable that fit the middle connector.

I'm ready to mount this combo hanging to the back of my case. The 4 rubber standoffs have a lot of wiggle in them, is this normal? I'm afraid it's too soft to support the weight of it and they might tear but they seem to be as tightly screwed in the bracket as possible. I'll also be using the extra ring to attach the res to the case for extra rigidity.

The four rubber standoffs are indeed soft but they’re soft to minimize vibration transmission. As long as you have the top ring, it’s fine.

anyone anser for this error ford5 next pump. 12V out of range? 2 of them directly on a sepperate psu for leak testing 1 works like a champ without making tons of noise the other one give's this error with noise

Since I see you have both Aquacomputer aqualis and ULTITOP D5, which one you prefer more?

The Aqualis is a much older product. The design has been around for nearly a decade. I’ve owned mine since like 2012. The aqualis has a pretty poor design that sandwiches glass between two O-rings that may leak if it’s not tightened down or if the o ring is pinched. Ultitop is a much better design that doesn’t have this flaw and is also compatible with the d5 next. If you want the waterfall effect, you’ll have to get a Aqualis. If you don’t have to have it, I’d say get the ultitop.

Maybe you have a bad pump? Cryofuel should be just some water and some additives so there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

The manual says that you need to use their double clear coolant. Just received the pump.

It’s such a perfect compact solution really rivals a full blown Aquaero 5/6 XT. It’s really cool with aqua suite softeware too.
