For me it would look better with a black background. Lush green colors and pale reds would contrast well with the black background. In addition, the light brown tree and stones will also contrast against this background.

Humorous how much effort was put into picking and placing stones and not even the largest of them are visible in the final product. Kind of a waste, if you ask me.😂

would be nice imo if that black coarse soil is more finer like sand. not sure if it would still be fertile for the plants tho .
