hi ,Great video , i have these filters brilliant and really quiet .there were a few problems with first generation but the latest version you can not go wrong .i replaced all my EHEIMS with the ULTRAMAX filters so far I am well impressed .but just a question ,I adjust the flow down during feeding, can the flow be kept down 10 to 15 percent constant ?

my Ultramax 2000 has been pumping really slow, like a trickle - so I cleaned the filter, removed the impeller and cleaned (it was much cleaner than yours in the video lol) and put it back and it's still not pumping very efficiently - just a little better than before. any ideas?

nvm problem solved my dumbass forgot to clean the pre-intake sponge lmao it was FILTHY

Hello, when you open only the pre-filter part. Does the filter leak a lot? Can I open only the pre-filter part in my living room ?

Put down a towel and have a bucket handy should be fine. I've done that fine. Probably wouldn't if I had carpet there.

Turn off IN valve for 3 seconds, turn off OUT for 3 seconds, - unplug filter, open only the front and side big clamps and voila no more water leaking, might need a tool to open the prefilter due to vacuum

Great, everything done well, would say it would be smart to take a spring brush and push inside the head near impeller (where the red rubbery thing is) to clear the OUT way in the head itself, is collects a lot of filth and is known to reduce flow rate.. 🙂

Been using these filters for over 1 year now, no issues at all so far, crystal clear water and pin drop silent, clean them out once every 3/4 months. Value for money I say.
