We are currently using the OutdoorMaster Shark II. It works very well, but it does not have an internal battery. I'm considering upgrading to the Flextail Gear Max SUP Pump

We have the Chelan 155. It has 7 scupper drains

We absolutely love our Chelan 155. The SE 465FT was actually on top of our list. What changed our mind was we joined the respective Facebook groups and talked to owners of both brands. There were some concerning reports on seam issues with the FT line and several people confirmed experiencing those issues. Hopefully Sea Eagle gets that resolved, but I didn't want to buy into an ongoing problem. The other point that turned us off the FT was river performance. Most people told us it was really best on flat water. Everyone recommended the Explorer line for rivers. The Chelan offered better overall performance between lake, river, and ocean. Sea Eagle is a great company and everyone we have talked to has reported positive interaction with their customer service. I think you'd be happy with either choice. Consider where and how you want to use it. And I'd encourage you to join those social media groups like we did to help finalize your decision

When your wife is recovering from acl surgery and you're a couple hours paddle from the next bathroom, a primitive squat is out of the question. So I bring a simple toilet seat to help facilitate the need to pee. 😄 We also have a trash bag in our dry bag so no extra mess is left behind

You got it. Lately we've been watching this more than anything else on TV. We love seeing what others are doing and how we can bring that to our own adventures. I have a month long sabbatical coming up in May and we want to plan a fun series of adventures across the country
